What hardware do I need to sign up for your service?
To subscribe to our services you will need a PCS or cellular phone, pager, palm computer/PDA, or other
wireless device and subscribe to your provider's text messaging service. You will need your
device's email address so we know where to direct the content. We can also direct content to
regular email accounts and internet appliances.
Extra services are available to users with two way (sending) abilities.
Some wireless providers may charge extra for each text message, or, each sent or received beyond a
number of messages free per month.
Do I need to get any software installed on my wireless device?
No, we format the message from HTML or XML into text suitable for messaging.
No special browser is required.
I didn't receive the registration code on my phone, what's wrong?
It may be you entered the email address wrong during the registration or you're
carrier is experiencing network problems/high volume. Try sending yourself a email to your phone using the address you entered. If you don't receive that message
contact your wireless carrier for support.
What is the cost of the web configured content services?
The services are free.

How do I temporarily or permanently disable my account?
In the portfolio view, click on Change Settings. Set your account
status to Disable. Click Register.
Why are some messages truncated? Where did the rest of the message go?
QuoteCall truncates the messages according to your selected message length.

How do I use the two-way stock quote request service?
Once you've registered for a QuoteCall account use your, SMS/email
gateway to send your quote request to
. The body or subject
of the message should contain the symbol (and market if required). We look
up your account details
based on the "from" address. If your email address doesn't match the one you
registered with or the symbol can't be found, the system will reply back detailing the problem.
Note: For Stock Indices such as ^IXIC you can use * in place of ^ such as *IXIC in case
that character is not available. .
