Confused about your carrier's text messaging services? We have some details on some of our users's most common text messaging providers.

1. You should have subscribed to your wireless providers text messaging services. If you haven't, it can usually be added to the system within 15 minutes and will cost a few dollars a month. Some carriers may charge per message beyond set number of 'free' messages per month. Contact your wireless service provider for more information. A regular email account can also be used.

2. Know your wireless device's email address and maximum message length. Check with your service provider. The address will usually be in the form of your_phone_number@your_phone_company.com or user_id@your_phone_company.com. Most PCS phones have a message length around 100 characters. Contact your wireless service provider for the details. You can change the message length later.

3. You must have your wireless device on hand to receive a test message. We will send you a code to enter to complete registration momentarily, so you should be in a digital service area and capable of receiving a message right now.
